to know the honest answer and i feel very weird asking this but...
is it normal for girls to shave down in their private areas or do most girls not?
im afraid to ask anyone else because it's just a very weird question to ask
so ya i just want to know the honest truth weather it's normal or not to
shave and weather your boyfriend would think it was weird if you didnt shave
and then he tried to finger you and get all grossed out or weather he'd
think it was weird if you did shave so i just want to know if the majority
of girls shave or not shave well please answer my questions thanx alot! i
appreciate it
Shaving really is a personal preference - and by that, I mean what you would prefer, as opposed to what a boyfriend would prefer.
Some girls shave the bikini line only, some don't shave anything, some keep all the hair trim, some shave and leave only a thin line of hair.
I think there is a lot of pressure for girls to be seen as perfect, as well as a fear of being judged by guys. But realistically, would you want to get intimate with a guy who would be grossed out by body hair/a lack of body hair?
I've actually done a little poll on this on another website, and I will say the overwhelming majority did not shave (or only shaved their bikini area). However, the people who responded were mostly in their twenties. I genuinely can't say what most teenagers do, because there really is no right answer.
If you feel comfortable being natural, than that's fabulous. If not, why not work in small stages and stop when you feel okay? This could mean shaving the bikini area (which you would probably do if you were ever going to wear a swimsuit, anyway!), trimming the hair elsewhere, etc.
Keep in mind that shaving brings along considerations like: extreme razor burn, itching when the hair grows back, etc. If you decide to shave, it's very important to use a new, sharp razor and some excellent shaving cream/gel.
Sorry I couldn't be more specific, but I think you will find that it's important to find a style you're happy maintaining and living with - and the last thing a guy who has his pants down your pants is likely to be thinking about is your pubic hair!!
